General Weekly Art Class : Tuesday 14th January 2025
This class is ideal for beginners or those with more experience. Come and join us to create artwork of your choice and learn techniques and styles that will connect to your creativity. We have art materials ready for you to use or bring your own. Learn with a welcoming, friendly group of artists tutored by professional artist Antony Bunyan.
When: 14/01/25 9:30am to 12:30pm
Where: Uniting Wesley Centre Nowra (outside hall -at the back of the main building), 26-30 Berry St, Nowra.
Cost: $60, $55 Senior concession

Drawing Workshop - Seascape Design - Ulladulla Civic Centre
A free Workshop in conjunction with the Millhouse Art Society's "Celebration Exhibition". The workshop will explore drawing a seascape using charcoal, charcoal pencils and eraser techniques to achieve a painterly and expressive work. Designed for beginners you will receive a free boxed set of charcoal pieces, pencils, eraser and quality papers. You will learn some fundamental design techniques to achieve great first-time results in your drawing.

Painting Workshop - Seascape Acrylic Painting - Ulladulla Civic Centre

Antony Bunyan
Art Teacher
Antony, the owner of Make Your Mark Arts has a long and impressive career, having worked full time in the film and television industry. Whilst working for Walt Disney Television Animation, Antony specialised in Stop-Motion animation and 2D drawn cartoon animation. He has also established and owned several small businesses - mainly in the production of animation for television, including commercials, television promotions, creating physical sets, scenery and props for stop motion animation film production.
Apart from producing full advertising concepts and commercials, Antony has also produced title sequences for shows, live action music videos, in-store promotions, internet page construction, flash web animation and multi-media graphics. Storyboard design, photography, model making, mould making, illustration and artwork for a host of promotional materials are also part of Antony's repertoire. Puppet animation for Capital Television also features in his extensive resume. Antony has also worked in dental prosthetics, requiring great precision, involving casting and moulding.
Apart from working in media arts, Antony is also an accomplished artist in the fine arts field in painting, drawing and sculpting.
Students under Antony's tutelage also benefit from his extensive experience with a range of traditional and non-traditional art-making materials.
For the last 25 years Antony has conducted professional arts workshops and classes for both children and adults, exposing students to exciting ideas, possibilities and learning challenges. He also has considerable experience teaching students with a variety of intellectual and physical impairments.
Antony supports and encourages inclusivity, ensuring each students' needs are met and they are participating in meaningful ways. Through his teaching and art practice, Antony enjoys exploring new and creative methods of teaching and explaining ideas, concepts and ways of achieving understanding for individual students.
